Archery Beginners Course. We run our archery beginners course annually in May with an additional one in the summer if there is sufficient demand.
The course takes place outdoors and is spread over several weeks with sessions on Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons. Wyre Forest has two way-marked family mountain bike cycle trails.
The trails are marked out clearly and start form the Visitor Centre. The Family cycle route starts at the Visitor centre and uses forest roads to take you through a varied landscape including old oaks and the 'valley of the giants'/5(4).
This year the weather was hot and sunny at the Wyre Forest Company of Archers Open Western tournament, a nice change from the rain we normally seem to get. The tournament was well attended with archers from across the West Midlands and beyond. Well done to all who shot and a special well done to all WFCA archers who won trophies and medals.
